The colbert county historical landmarks foundation (cchlf) supports education and preservation of historical landmarks within colbert county, alabama. Cchlf offers quarterly meetings at the tuscumbia public library for the community with guest speakers providing education on historical landmarks in the area. Cchlf also provides free historical walking tours each saturday in april, each june as part of the helen keller festival, each december as part of the it's a dickens christmas, y'all festival and at other times throughout the year. Cchlf offers trolley tours of historic tuscumbia that includes historical churches, homes and downtown businesses and often offers special events for children each fall during the okakapassa festival in spring park.
