Mission
The purpose of the Collaborative Community on Ophthalmic Innovation Foundation (the "Foundation") is to improve public health by advancing the diagnosis, management, and treatment of eye diseases and other medical conditions. The Foundation brings together leading experts and organizations from the public and private sectors to exchange information and develop solutions. These experts are from government agencies, academia, patient groups, small medical device manufacturers, software and artificial intelligence developers, and professional and sub-specialty organizations in the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. The Foundation was formed to formalize the collaborative community and continue its efforts to advance knowledge about ophthalmic imaging and its usefulness as tool to diagnose and treat disease.
