Using an intuitive approach, artists work with patients without any pre-specified outcomes to support the unique interests and needs of each patient, providing a supportive environment where participants are free to explore their creativity and express themselves through art.
Collage hosts a series of curatorial tours and receptions at galleries and museums for doctors and other cancer care providers, as well as special events/trips for patients and their families that provide access to and knowledge about some of the citys greatest cultural institutions including the opportunity to escape from the daily routine and stress of cancer treatment that provides patients, survivors and family members time to interact and share experiences.
