College Outreach

Outreach (bilingual) to (i) rural students and families, (ii) rural high schools, and (iii) colleges and career and technical educational programs - College Outreach works throughout the year connecting the 28,000 rural high school students and their families and the rural high school counselors and other educators at 82 high schools with our in person and virtual events and other programming. We build relationships with hundreds of colleges and universities across the world as well as regional and national career and technical educational programs. College Outreach is expanding its efforts to the 21,000 Western Slope middle school students in an effort to begin the college and career conversation earlier. All outreach efforts are in English and Spanish for our students and families.

Year-round Seminar and other Educational Programming - Continuing after the Colorado Western Slope College Fair, College Outreach hosts (1) classroom visits, (2) evening seminars for students and families, (3) high school counselor symposiums, and (4) 24/7 website college and career planning resources throughout the school year. All offerings are free and available in Spanish.
