Programs
3 programs
Mailing or emailing a newsletter to members providing general information about collies, upcoming events and activities, encouraging adoptions of collies, recruitment of volunteer foster homes, recruitment of other volunteers and providing information on how to make donations. We share adoption stories and provide information on how we do what we do as well as helpful articles on medical or behavioral issues.
During this fiscal year, we donated $1,000 to tri-state collie rescue and $500 to long island sheltie rescue (both are charitable organizations). They both were dealing with large scale animal welfare seizures. These rescues, many other rescues and collie clubs provided financial assistance to us when we were involved in several animal welfare seizures in 2019 and 2020 and we wanted to support them in this work.
Various other expenses supporting our general mission and special projects: the rescue line (800 number) ($862); supplies related to membership (reminders to renew, membership cards and thank you cards)($194); general liability insurance for foster homes and volunteer accident insurance ($1,321); po box rentals ($176); annual collie picnic ($1,302)
