Funding transport, vet care (Jakes Fund) and spay & neuter programs in rural & underserved areas. Donate funds for pet food & supplies to needy shelters and rescues, small funds to referred pet owners struggling with financial or health challenges - Help People Keep Their Pets

Jakes Fund - C.A.R.E. helps sponsor veterinary care for animals in shelters to get them ready for adoption. Jakes Fund donations defray the cost to rescues and shelters for routine care through emergency medical such as treatment for injuries adn conditions. In 2024, 701 animals were assisted with donations. Since this program started in 2008, 9,849 animals have been assisted with veterinary donations.

Transport: Expenses cover van rental and gas getting animals to locations where they will readily find new homes through rescue placement.

Expenses: $28KGrants: $13K

Donations to Shelters, Rescues and Colony Cat Feeders: $33,368 in expenses and $30,000 in grants. Donations to help with operating expenses such as vet bills, repairs, pet food, etc.Donations to Help People Keep Their Pets:$15,261 in expenses and $15,000 in grants. Contributions help referred struggling pet owners or support programs helping owners on short-term basis with boarding, acute vet care or pet food.
