Our educational outreach and community engagement programs include workshops that encourage community members to get more involved in their neighborhoods and communities. Cacen tabled at several community events to get out information about voter registration and the election process. Cacen also partnered with asian vibes in denver to teach a workshop about the importance of voting.

Cacen's mental health programming addresses the unique challenges faced by asian american communities. In 2024, cacen provided workshops addressing depression and intergenerational trauma, and organized a mental wellness summit with a day of presentations, discussions, and physical activities. Cacen also maintains a database of therapists and behavioral health providers to connect community members with the care they need.

Cacen's youth outdoor equity programs aim to reduce barriers for youth to access colorado's natural beauty. We offer inclusive, culturally responsive outdoor experiences that promote leadership, environmental stewardship, and wellness. In 2024, we organized a family camp out, ski trip, and outdoor climbing obstacle course. We also partnered with outdoor asian to provide a group bike ride, tai chi at the park, and birding event.
