Two performances of J.S. Bachs St. Matthew Passion: Total Attendance 1067: 20 Chorus Members 6 Soloists 19 Orchestra Members 1 Director and 5 Volunteers for each Performance.
Cantata Insight Series: 9 performances - Total attendance 936: 10 - 12 Chorus Members 3 or 4 Soloists 12 - 15 Orchestra Members 1 director and 4 or 5 Volunteers for each performance. THESE ARE FREE CONCERTS but patrons may Name and pay their price for a ticket.
A collaboration concert with the Denver School of Arts. Seventy three students participated from the choral and orchestra departments. CBE had 8 singers 4 soloists and 4 orchestra members join the kids for the concert.The DSA school was filled to capacity.
Young Arts Competition: 18 Singers participated in the preliminary round with 7 finalist being selected. The finalist were invited to Denver for the final competition. Each finalist presented a Bach Aria that was selected by our artistic director. A panel of three judges was used. At the conclusion of the competition a winner and runner-up were selected. CBE provided the accompanist.
