COBRT strengthened its role as a leading business voice on immigration reform by building on the connections, strategy, and outreach efforts. A key success was securing a feature in the Denver Business Journal's Table of Experts, providing a platform for COBRT and other thought leaders to highlight the challenges within the immigration system and its impact on businesses. COBRT also deepened engagement with Colorado's federal congressional delegation, meeting with seven members of Congress and their staff to reinforce the business case for reform. COBRT further expanded its influence by collaborating with national and regional business groups, including signing a letter urging the Biden administration to act on work permits for migrants. Immigration was woven into major COBRT events such as Future of Work, State of the State, and View from the Top, helping normalize the issue within broader business discussions. It also had two meetings with the Biden White House, and immigration was a topic each time.
