To provide funding for colorado-based golf organizations and programs that use golf to build important life skills and character, with an emphasis on instilling hard work and self-reliance in young people.
Programs
2 programs
Junior player development: the foundation supports programs and organizations that develop future generations of golfers including the colorado golf association's various junior player development programs, the pga section of colorado - pga reach, and the gold crown foundation.
Community partnerships: the foundation supports programs and organizations who wish to introduce golf to those who may not otherwise have an opportunity to experience all this great game has to offer. Through community partnerships the foundation creates an environment where kids have fun while developing skills that build self-esteem and reinforce ideals like honesty and fair play. Organizations supported by the foundation include the first tee chapters of rocky mountains, southern colorado, and four corners, as well as pikes peak golf links and colorado uplift, and first green (gcsaa & steam).
