Microcampuses - micro-campuses at che (colorado homeschool enrichment) offer a unique approach to homeschooling, functioning as small collectives of two or more families in colorado. These part-time home-based education programs receive funding for both academic and extracurricular activities through the state of colorado, maintaining autonomy while benefiting from ches guidance and support. Each micro-campus is led by a compensated micro-campus leader and is required to provide at least 90 hours of enrichment activities per semester. This model allows families to tap into a network of resources, offering students diverse learning opportunities ranging from stem to art and adventure classes.
Adventure classes - at che, adventure classes are not just a thrilling escapade but a holistic educational experience. Living up to the beauty of colorado, these programs are steeped in experiential learning and outdoor education. They are designed to challenge students physically while instilling essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and first aid. From rock climbing to canyoneering, these courses offer both year-long commitments and shorter add-on adventures, catering to varying interests and levels of commitment. With two 6-day trips a year and a plethora of activities, ches adventure classes are an avenue for both academic and personal growth.
