Colorado Music Festival

The center for musical arts had its most successful year ever as it continued to see growth in private lesson and ensemble enrollment. Faculty member alex sierra was named the winner of the faculty inspiration award by the 2023 winner michael quam. The tiny stage was featured in many local festivals and celebrations, boasting the presentation of musical performances to over 20,000 individuals in the region. While the student lounge saw a refresh with new paint and furniture, an office space was also transitioned into a lesson studio as the building is reaching maximum capacity on several weekday afternoons. The founders hall space has also seen a major uptick in usage with our own student and faculty recitals, cma concert series and a number of outside rentals including peer arts organizations and public schools. The organization merged with the colorado music festival endowment in 2024, in conjunction with increased emphasis on fundraising for pay equity, building reserve funds, special projects and increasing focus on legacy giving. The organization hired an outside fundraising consultant to run a campaign with the expectation of announcing the campaign publically in the spring of 2025. The merger comes with the addition of several new policies involving investment and gift acceptance. Advance 2025 festival ticket sales and sponsorships are tracking positively.
