Legislative education a key outreach effort to explain the multitude of missions and complexities of colorado's fire service to the public and members of the general assembly. Focus is on providing information and education to allow the public and members of the general assembly the opportunity to understand the accelerating costs for operating fire departments, apparatus, equipment, and personnel protective equipment along with the impact of continual reductions in the primary source of funding for the majority of colorado's fire departments.
Critical issues briefing brief one-day rapid fire educational sessions designed to address breaking (critical) issues and provide an introduction to new challenges looming on the horizon.
