Columbus Symphony Orchestra Inc

The 2024 picnic with the pops and popcorn pops outdoor concert series in the columbus commons included eight (8) concert programs (9 performances), which were attended by 25,598 individuals.

Cso education programs in 2023-24 included classroom programs (young people's concerts, in school concerts, mindful music moments); four youth orchestra ensembles and programs for young musicians; academy which provides musical training for students who would like to pursue careers in the orchestral field; kids corner, our educational website for children; opportunities for lifelong learners with fantasy camp; and recognition and professional development opportunities for teachers. New this year, we've expanded our partnership with columbus city schools to provide expanded access to high quality music education, by developing an in school residency program for middle and high school instrumental music programs. Cso education programs served over 42,000 in the 2023-2024 season.
