In 2024 the cvas food bank, funded by donations from stores and community members, was in greater need. We served 110 families, up from 81 the year before. This helped 252 dogs and 307 cats stay with their families rather than be surrendered or dumped. This trend is up each year. We are ecstatic that the community rallies each week we post a picture of an empty food bank, and we have been able to continue this service. In addition, our drive-thru vaccination clinics provided 419 rabies vaccines to both cats and dogs, as well as other core vaccines, and 125 animals were microchipped so they could more easily be reunited with their owners when they become lost.
