The local is engaged in the implementation of the objectives of the communications workers of america to represent employees in matters related to employment conditions and employer-employee relations, including, but not limited to, wages, hours, and other terms and contions of employment, and to protect and preserve the union as an institution in the performance of its legal and contractual obligations.
