Program #2 SACRAMENTO, MERCED, FRESNO, COACHELLA VALLEY: Utilizing the findings from San Joaquin Valley Speaks. CNC EF implemented broad leadership development and volunteer recruitment campaigns via one-on-one personal visits, house meetings, monthly door-to-door neighborhood canvassing, and monthly resident-led membership meetings. Emphasis has been placed on issues impacting women, such as affordable housing, healthcare access, and education. CNC EF organizers supported neighborhood committees in developing issue-based educational campaigns for residents and elected and appointed officials. conducted to learn about issues impacting Coachella Valley families.
Program #3 MERCED COUNTY, COACHELLA VALLEY: Merced County and Riverside County affordable housing education programs increase awareness of training to affordable housing needs in Merced and Riverside Counties. Activities include resident engagement, research, and training to promote local government transparency in local housing investments.
