Sixth street shelter/turner street apartments/ferry street apartmentsserved 91 families residing at the shelter. 50% of families saved money toward rent or a security deposit. 75% of families achieved their family service plan goals. 100% of families created a written budget to understand credit and money management. Referred 15% of families to careerlink. 75% of families achieved their benchmark family care goals. Developed a roster of 30 local landlords willing to work with shelter residents

Racial and ethnic justice programadministered generation next in four schools across the allentown school district, bethlehem area school district, and easton area school district. Of participating seniors, 100% successfully graduated from high school. Awarded 12 scholarships to high school graduates, ranging from $500 to $2,000. Assisted students with college application assistance, fafsa preparation, sat prep, networking, resume development, and college exploration. Administered the she program in the allentown school district and bethlehem area school district, serving 57 elementary students and 99 middle school students. Curriculum included stem activities, signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships, art activities, and mental health awareness.

Community action homessold one home in slatington and listed another for sale. Managed the renovation of two properties in anticipation of their sale: one in allentown one in south bethlehem. Acquired one home from the allentown redevelopment authority to be renovated for sale. Coordinated rehabilitation activities for 40 homes through the whole home repair program. Completed 12 faade improvements to residential and commercial properties: five in allentown, three in bethlehem, and three in the slate belt.

Housing counseling program43 families that utilized the housing counseling program were able to purchase their first home. Conducted seven first-time homebuyer seminars, providing 8 hours of hud-approved education. 214 prospective home buyers earned a certificate of completion by attending a seminar. 55 prospective homebuyers were provided pre-purchase counseling. 39 prospective homebuyers were provided pre-settlement counseling. 1 program participants utilized the home ownership savings account program, earned a $2,000 savings match, and purchased a home. 2 participants completed a 6-hour financial education course developed by the pennsylvania housing finance agency. 4 participants utilized the bethlehem homebuyer assistance program to purchase their first home. Provided default and delinquency counseling to 42 financially distressed homeowners. Provided loss mitigation services to 6 delinquent homeowners. Assisted 15 delinquent homeowners in applying to the pa homeowner assistance fund. Assisted 37 homeowners in applying to the homeowners' emergency mortgage assistance program. Provided rental/financial counseling to 4 residents of the turner street transitional housing program.

Slate belt risinggranted 6 scholarships to high school students in the bangor and pen argyl school districts. Completed and continued ongoing 4 faade projects in bangor and portland. Completed 2024 slate belt annual cleanup, with over 100 volunteers participating across seven municipalities. Completed a mural in pen argyl. Provided financial support to 4 businesses through the commercial lease subsidy program. Launched the lead-free homes campaign in east bangor borough. Sponsored regional events including quarry bites & brews, collaborated with the slate belt chamber of commerce on slate belt restaurant week and the slate belt gift certificate program. Continued development of the slate belt heritage & art trail.
