In 2024, it distributed 14.8 million pounds of usda surplus and donated food to 167,480 unduplicated low-income individuals through a network of more than 250 community and faith-based partners. Its three core components include weatherization, emergency crisis intervention, and the home energy assistance program (heap). As the largest provider of utility bill assistance in san bernardino county, eees assisted 23,737 individuals with over $8.2 million in utility assistance payments in 2024. The program also offers energy conservation services such as appliance repair and replacement, weatherization, and energy education. In 2024, 259 homes were weatherized, benefiting 710 individuals, and 32,350 residents received energy education.
