The Community Bread Basket is a cooperative outreach ministry of the churches, other supportive organizations, businesses and individuals in the Weirton, WV area to assure basic needs of life for people/families.

The utility assistance program provides assistance to families through payments to utility companies in association with a termination notice, local supply companies for heating fuel such as kerosene and propane, and landlords related to eviction notices. We assisted 56 family households during the year.

The Gabriel Project provides baby items such as clothing, diapers, cribs, car seats, etc to families in need. Staff and volunteers help select the necessary items essential for the childs well being. The Gabriel room receives contributed baby items from donors which include baby food, diapers, blankets, clothing for boys and girls ages 0-7, clothing accessories, stuffed animals, toys, and baby equipment. We assisted 28 individuals in need during the year.
