Mission

The community education council (cec) together with business, education, and community partners, offers professional, academic, and personal opportunities for lifelong learning in elk and cameron counties and the surrounding areas. In the 2023-2024 program year, more than 1,880 enrollments in credit, noncredit, and enrichment courses were made possible through the cec; more than 650 exams were delivered for professional certifications; our discover partnership offers career development for k-12 students and schools and made possible nearly 5,000 engagements; and the number of alumni from the leadership elk & cameron program reached 235.
