Hospice - hospice care is for patients that have an illness or condition with a life expectancy of six months or less and an absence of curative treatment. Our staff are dedicated to provide high quality of life at the end stages and will help support the patient and the family in meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Through our staff of registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, medical social workers, therapists, and chaplains, in 2024, we provided care to 869 patients and 2,593 bereavement patients. We had a total of 37,040 days that included 57 inpatient days and 226 respite days. In hospice, we provide many services, including pain control and symptom management, medical director support, registered nursing care, emotional and spiritual counseling, home health aide support, volunteer assistance, diet consultation, pharmacy support, and bereavement support for the family.
Other miscellaneous revenue includes rental income from related organizations.
