Quality of life financial assistance: in 2024, the crc disbursed 58,028.58 on behalf of a total of 103 clients for basic needs. 66% of funds disbursed paid for rent and/or temporary housing, 25% paid for gas and car repairs needed for clients to remain active in the workforce, 5% paid towards energy bills, and the remaining 4% of funds disbursed went toward other basic needs such as utility bills, prescriptions and medical bills.

Food for good: food for good is our food rescue program, where food that is just expired, bruised, or overstocked is rescued and re-distributed to anyone who needs it. In 2024, 8 volunteers logged 430 hours of service to rescue food totaling 15,268 pounds from area grocery stores and restaurants. This food was subsequently re-distributed at various times and locations throughout the community as free food for all. Any food no longer appropriate for human consumption was provided to local farms for compost and farm animal food.

Other community resource center programs are in line with the organization's mission to serve community members by providing immediate assistance, essential resources, and connections to achieve self- sufficiency. In collaboration with the education foundation of teton valley, the teton valley cares event has continued to have impactful attendance. This event provides free medical, vision, hearing & dental screenings, haircuts, at-home educational supplies, clothing, toiletries and connection to local resources to ensure that our community's youth and their families are able to go into the new school year prepared. In 2024, we served 196 children and their families. The community resource center's firewood rescue program, new in 2023, saw tremendous growth in 2024. Volunteer initiatives expanded the reach of firewood sources beyond the initial model of salvaging from the scrap wood pile at the local transfer station. Partnering with local landowners and tree removal companies, volunteers procured over 17,000 pounds of wood that was then split and bundled for easier disbursement to recipients in need of supplemental firewood to keep their homes warm in winter. The program implemented a new anonymous voucher system in 2024 to keep the assistance accessible, while measuring for impact. In the last 6 months of 2024, 168 bundles of wood were disbursed to 11 unique households. The program also added a storage unit to keep back-stock of bundles dry throughout the winter. The housing security deposit program aims to reduce the financial barrier to securing housing by providing assistance with rental security deposits to eligible persons in accordance with hud area income limits and other program requirements. The program pays the full amount of the tenant's security deposit by the move-in date in the form of an interest-free loan and the tenant is responsible to make monthly payments to the community resourse center of teton valley until the loan amount is paid in full. In 2024, the crc disbursed 9,862.00 in security deposits to landlords on behalf of 8 households and received 4,009.00 in loan repayments from program participants. Our home goods pantry aims to combat hygiene poverty in teton valley by providing seasonal clothing along with basic household and hygiene supplies for free, available to anyone in need. In 2024, the pantry was able to keep the shelves stocked throughout the year thanks to in-kind donations from the community and corporate donors as well as grant funding from the community foundation of teton valley.
