Full Picture Justice fights the death penalty and mitigates the harms of extreme sentencing through life history investigation, client advocacy, and community healing.

Client, Family, and Community Services - Services provided to support, heal, and build resilience in the families and communities impacted by death penalty prosecutions. In 2024, FPJ continued to train and hire formerly incarcerated individuals to facilitate healing circles, support our programs, and train our staff. We also expanded access to discretionary funding for communities and families needs.

Expenses: $220K

Advocacy and Educational Initiatives - Programming directed at training colleagues, and generating awareness on the United States judicial system and direct service best practices. FPJ continues to participate in community coalitions to abolish the death penalty and challenge incarceration through policy change. In 2024, FPJ staff served as faculty on training programs targeted at jurisdictions with high risk of death penalty verdicts and executions.
