This year, 132 participants were housed through our motel to home program. Motel to home - several counties in metro atlanta have a high number of families with school aged children that call extended stay motels home. The high weekly rates to live in a motel room does not allow for the family to save enough money for deposit and first months rent to be able to move forward. This program helped families with school aged children with deposit and first months rent up to $2,500 move into an apartment or rent a single-family home.

In 2024, crp supported 104 survivors through our victim legal assistance network(vlan) grant program. The atlanta volunteer lawyers foundation, tapestri, and atlanta legal aid referred survivors of human trafficking, sexual assaultor domestic violence, that were actively working with agency care navigator and who followed a case plan, to our vlan housing assistance program. Crp assisted survivors with first month rent and/or move-in cost.

We served 10,500 households and filed 11,745 returns via our vita program services. The volunteer income tax assistance (vita) program helped individuals with low to moderate incomes, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited english-speaking taxpayers prepare and file their tax returns at no cost.

In 2024, 105 program participants were housed through our kids home initiative. Kids home initiative - families with at least one school aged child (k-12) can receive up to $2,000 in assistance to help with their security deposit or first months rent. Participants must have consistent income and must be referred by a school counselor.

Youth housing initiative - the youth housing initiative provided affordable housing opportunities to displacedyouth aged 18-24. The program participants came from youth that have timed out of foster care, college students who cant afford student housing among othersources. Through this initiative, clients were provided with a shared living model with a roommate of the same sex. Accepted applicants participated in a financial literacy program that came with a savings match. In 2024, we served a total of 23 participants.

In 2024, 72 participants were housed through our h2h program service. H2 housing - helping hand housing (h2h) is a savings and housing program. Participants must have school aged children and must have lived in an extended stay motel for at least 30 days. This program is an 8 month direct cash transfer program where participants can receive up to $500 per month for 8 months. Participants must adhere to the strict program guidelines to receive the payout each month. The participants must be permanently housed by month 4 and save a minimum of $1,000 by the end of the program.
