Sequoia community corps (scc) cset's scc offers vocational training in the trades of weatherization, urban forestry, conservation education, and recycling, including the recycling of crv beverage containers, e-waste, used oil, and waste tires. In addition to the services offered to young adults, the scc also assists local governments, agencies and businesses meet critical community needs such as park development, recycling services, and natural resource conservation in local recreation areas.

Energy - cset's energy department aims to assist low-income households that use a large portion of their income to meet basic energy needs. The department accomplishes this goal by providing financial assistance to help balance an eligible household's utility bills or households that are in a crisis situation. Cset provides free energy efficiency upgrades to eligible households to help lower monthly utility bills while improving the health and safety of its occupants. The department also provides energy budget counseling and education on basic energy efficiency practices and instructions on the proper use and maintenance of installed weatherization measures.
