First, compass presents contemporary, challenging plays that illuminate aspects of our social or political condition and our human reactions. Secondly, compass theatre presents robust post-show discussion programming with each production. Our productions are created with chicago's diverse artists. Our post-show discussions are carefully curated and facilitated by a diverse group of experts who create an open environment and ensure contribution from a range of perspectives. Fundamental to human connection is the ability to see, hear, understand, and empathize with experiences different than our own. Compass theatre's productions and post-show discussions work congruently to facilitate human connection.
