This program helped improve youth outcomes in areas such as academic achievement, life skills development, and emotional resilience. Through this program, CFK equipped and activated over 25 churches and over 200 volunteers to serve families in partnership with local child welfare agencies. Support included connection events for parents and families, meals, care packages and gifts, training, as well as tangible support for families in crisis. Additionally, CFK provided training and coaching to community groups and faith leaders to increase awareness and advocacy for the foster care system.
