Primary exempt purpose - the connecticut state building trades charitable trust fund operates exclusively for charitable purposes. The trust makes financial grants to organizations that are qualified by the irs as tax exempt organizations under irc 501(c)(3) operating in the state of connecticut, for the health, education, support, and maintenance of persons in connecticut and/or their families and that have been determined to be in need of financial assistance.
