Mission

CCIU (ccfiu.org) is an educational organization that promotes religious literacy, education and understanding. We offer programs that bring diverse groups together, building community among like-minded individuals from very different backgrounds. We welcome and celebrate the State's increasing religious diversity, promoting interfaith dialogue and understanding to achieve mutual respect, justice, and peace. CCIU's programs include To Love Your Neighbor, Know Your Neighbor; House of Worship visits; a Race Amity Day celebration; and a World Religion Day celebration. CCIU also sponsors an annual Love Thy Neighbor Dinner, with community leaders sharing what "Love Thy Neighbor" means to them. Their presentations spark thoughtful discussions among the 200 attendees throughout the evening.
