Mission
To promote strong educational practices, encourage member participation in educational issues, to inform members of educational issues at the state, local and national levels, run workshops and training sessions, and encourage members to take part in local, state, regional and national programs.

We maintain an office space for our Association. The expenses include occupancy, insurance, office supplies, and information technology.
Donations to Barnard Memorial Fund to aid CEA retirees in the state = $1800. $7200 donated to the GEA Scholarship Fund by the GEA. $1100 donated to the CEF Scholarship provided by the State Affiliate (CEA). $3300 donated to pay for memberships for 6 newly retired members to the State (CEA) and National (NEA) Affiliates. $551 donated to CEA Holiday Bear for children in need during the holidays. $250 donated to the Greenwich Public Schools Distinguished Teacher Award Committee. $4400 donated to GEA Scholarship Fund in the name of 8 newly retired members. 19 merit scholarships of $500 each were given to college-bound students of the Board of Education and/or the membership-at-large.
