Mission
To be organized and operated at all times exclusively as a non-stock, charitable "supporting organization" as described in sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended ("code") for the following exclusive purposes:(a) to support, benefit and assist connecticut public broadcasting, inc. ("cpb"), which is a tax-exempt organization under code section 501(c)(3) and a public charity code section 509(a)(2);(b) to enlist public support and establish funding initiatives for the benefit of cpb.;(c) to receive from any person, cash or property which will comprise an endowment fund for the benefit of cpb, inc.(d) to own, hold, manage, invest and reinvest all such property received;(e) to use and apply the net income and principal of all such property in such property in such manner and in such time.
