Conahec conference: planning is underway to hold conahec's 22nd north american higher education conference in october of 2024. The initial proposal, accepted by city university of seattle was to hold the conference on their premises. Conahec's executive director visited the campus and viewed the spaces and catering capacities, as well as investigated hotels to potentially set aside a room block. Conahec also paid for whova software - an online platform that permits event registration, the organization of an agenda, and the enablement of a conference app. Sponsorships were also collected from a number of supporting agencies and organizations. It was subsequently decided that the event would instead be held at cetys university's campus in ensenada, baja california mexico due to human resource limitations at city university and the availability of staff support at cetys still in october of 2024.
Conahec information systems: these websites and systems have been removed from the university of arizona's network infrastructure onto the servers of an independent hosting company named smarterasp.net. The move required substantial staff effort and some elements of the previous site have yet to be rebuilt/reincorporated.
