Consortium Of Florida Education Foundations Inc

School district education foundation matching grant program: the consortium manages a statewide program leveraging funds appropriated by the florida legislature with a goal of increasing private-sector investment and involvement in k-12 public education with a $1 for $1 match. The majority of florida's 67 county-wide school districts leveraged state funds with 112 projects. More than 2 million k-12 students were impacted across the state with measurable outcomes reported in one of six eligible areas: stem, teaching quality, support for low performing students, increasing graduation rates, and career/technical education. Real results occured throughout florida: 96% of participating students in pinellas showed growth in literacy and 100% of participating students in jackson county passed the florida ready to work exam to enhance employability.

College & career pathways and scholarships: through 104 separate partnerships with local education foundations, the consortium is building a path to successful life after high school through career exploration and technical education, scholarships, and efforts to help economically disadvantaged students with college preparation and planning. Deluca foundation and hca healthcare foundations supporting 29 local education foundation programs for students to explore healthcare career pathways.
