The high school program provides students with the opportunity to explore the construction industry; it gives cte teachers resources and new connections to the current happenings in the industry; and it encourages industry participation from companies who will seek to fill construction positions. There were 43 participating high schools from 23 area independent school districts participating in 2024.
In affiliation with associated builders and contractors of greater houston, cmef provided non-craft, safety, and commercial training programming.
