Conferences - cmaa is dedicated to providing education, specialized training, and networking opportunities for construction and program management professionals working together to realize project and program success. Cmaa national events foster information exchange through thought- provoking and inspiring educational sessions and workshops, technology demonstrations, exhibits, and hands-on learning labs while providing attendees with an opportunity to explore developments in their professional practice, industry benchmarks, and new developments. These events also provide practitioners at any career stage the opportunity to grow and learn the competencies required for high-performing construction management teams as well as business concepts, leadership, and communication skills to help successfully deliver capital projects.
Professional development - cmaa provides construction managers with a variety of traditional and digital education and training opportunities that are dedicated to improving the overall competency and performance of the industry. By offering publications that define the industry standards, virtual and in-person training to steward those standards, as well as webinars, town halls, and technical tours, cmaa is the primary source to enhance education within the profession. Cmaa is also the lead society for accreditation of professional degree programs in construction management by abet. Working through abet, cmaa is able to make a significant contribution to developing a qualified, professional workforce.
