Ccep helps lead the healthcare workforce initiative in partnership with the contra costa workforce development board and industry experts including the bay area health workforce partnership. Through this work ccep hopes to build on the success workforce development board's current emt program, expand trainings to all emergency medical services, and identify new occupations for apprenticeships. Through this work ccep hopes to establish a local pipeline of qualified, diverse talent to ensure that healthcare workforce reflects the diversity of the communities they serve and meets employer demand for a growing economy.
