First amendment public interest legal activities - crf engaged in public interest litigation and legal processes to protect, defend, and advance the principles of the first amendment, including efforts to inhibit conduct that has a detrimental impact on liberty, free speech, and freedom of association.

First amendment legal defense fund support - crf supported independent third-party legal defense funds to assist outside counsel in their efforts to protect the innocent being persecuted for exercising their constitutional right of speech and association guaranteed under the first amendment.

First amendment programs support - crf supported independently established programs designed to promote and advance the ideals of liberty and the first amendement, including sponsoring patriotic programs that advance and support pro-liberty and pro-constitutional freedom of speech and association activities.
