Mental health- cornerhouse's mental health programming is designed to offer children, adolescents, and their caregivers therapeutic support needed to heal after incidents of abuse. Clinicians provide specialized therapy for survivors and witnesses of child abuse in both individual and support group settings. In 2024, our mental health program served 69 clients.

Training- cornerhouse has been a formative contributor in the field of forensic interviewing since 1989 with the development of the cornerhouse forensic interview protocol. Our experience and expertise is offered through practicum-based trainings that guide professionals across the globe on best practices in responding to children, youth, and vulnerable adults disclosing abuse or maltreatment. To date cornerhouse has trained over 50,000 professionals in all 50 states and over 20 countries to listen in a person-centered and developmentally appropriate way.cornerhouse training is offered both in-person and online, making it more accessible. Our training curriculum includes: basic forensic interview training, advanced forensic interview training, refresher courses, and customized multidisciplinary team training. Cornerhouse continues to evolve in line with current research and regularly collaborates with national organizations and academic institutions.key features of cornerhouse training: research-informed and trauma-sensitive, focuses on child development, memory and suggestibility, and cultural humility, and includes observed practice interviews, peer feedback, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Advocacy- the cornerhouse family services are designed to offer children, adolescents and their caregivers therapeutic and support services they need to stabilize, heal and reconnect after incidents of abuse. Caregivers are offered ongoing support with crisis management, legal navigation, planning for the safety of the child, and therapeutic services to ensure families have the resources, information and support they need to heal and thrive. Family services offer onsite trauma informed therapy and support groups. In 2024, we served over 866 families through our family services programming. This includes 1,426 follow-up contacts, 71 housing/shelter referrals, 195 trauma screenings, 55 columbia trauma screenings, and 288 therapeutic service referrals administered.
