Mission
The mission of the Cornish Community Initiative is to maintain and enhance the quality of life of Cornish, NH residents through multiple activities related to the arts, education, public affairs, community development, historic resources, the environment, recreation, and social services.

Many activities were held during 2025 with the interest of the Cornish community in mind for social, recreational, and educational purposes. The CCI hosted of the following regular gatherings within the former Cornish General Store: Cornish Aging in Place, Cornish Garden Club, Cornish Quilters, Friends of the Cornish Library, and Cornish Neighbor to Neighbor. In addition, the organization either executed, provided some funding or access to the building to hold community board game nights, seasonal clothing swaps, pot luck dinners, living a sustainable lifestyle talks, storyteller/moth nights, Styrofoam collections, community holiday caroling, winter puzzle swaps, bicycle maintenance class, adult craft nights, plant swaps, the cabin fever music series, quilt classes, etc. No fees were charged to attend, but donations were encouraged.
