Mission

The y works to strengthen our community through programming that helps develop members by concentrating on nurturing the potential of every child, teen and adult. The y has three areas of focus- youth development, healthy living, and social responsibilities. With these areas the programs the y provides adventure guides, preschool, before and after school care, youth sports, swim lessons, summer day camp, planned family events, vaccine education, blood pressure monitoring, and youth and government. The y partners with other organizations, governmental agencies, school districts, and private industries to accomplish our mission our mission of giving back to the community. Our partners include the city of corona, city of eastvale, city of jurupa valley, city of norco, corona fire department, corona police department, corona-norco unified school district, riverside county office of education, california department of education, and many more non-profits.

With the areas of focus youth development, healthy living, and social responsibilities the y demonstrates community impact with a range of programs and services. Because of the y, more young people in our community are taking greater interest in learning life saving skills like swimming and safety around water. At the y children and teens are learning positive social skills that children are in great need of today. Confident children make confident and contributing adults tomorrow. At the y, a supportive community is a big part of wellness. The y is a powerful association of men, women, and children of all ages and from all walks of life joined together by a shared passion: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. With our partners, the y has developed high quality preschool programs, adventure guides, before and after school care, youth sports, swim lessons, summer day camp, planned family events, vaccine education, blood pressure monitoring, and youth and government.
