The touch project has grown to five sponsorhip programs for over 400 children. It is a friendship program, not an adoption agency. Nearly 300 delegates have traveled from the us to ukraine at their own expense since 2001 as part of the annual touch delegation. Delegates take the children shopping for school clothes, on outdoor excursions, and to movies, museums, parks, and cultural events. Sponsorship funds include educational support, facilities repair, food, clothing, and health care. A major project in 2021 was the repair of fire damage at the roma school in uzhhorod.
