To foster joint and cooperative action for charitable, cultural, educational and human service organizations in its catchment area; helping needy individuals in a respectful way with funds for food, emergency home repairs, emergency medical needs, children's camp and tuition funds to keep them off the streets and out of trouble; to protect and strengthen the rights and interests of all citizens in the community by supporting local community organizations and rabbis of the local beth-din; to analyze, assess, and provide for communal and human service needs and advocate for new services; to promote equality of opportunity and full civil rights and civil liberties for all religious, racial and ethnic groups; and to aid and assist all people in the community who are in need, regardless of race, color, or creed.
