Older adult serviceswith the support of government partners, we provided extensive outreach and assistance related to government benefits, such as the supplemental nutrition assistance program (snap) and the senior citizens rent increase exemption (scrie) and other important benefits so older new yorkers can make ends meet by having access to public benefits in new york city.

Member engagement:we help aging services providers throughout new york state to build capacity, gain skills, and develop professionally, while creating a space for peers to network, collaborate, and share best practices. We engage our members by offering coalition participation opportunities, continuing education training for licensed social workers in the field of aging, opportunities to spotlight their work at upcoming trainings and at our annual conference and we provide critical information on time sensitive issues in the field through our monthly e-newsletter, as well as through our regular member-specific updates and meetings.
