An organization dedicated to serving senior citizens throughout our area and improving the quality of life for our clients.
Programs
3 programs
Title III Program provides social services and nutritional services to senior citizens funds through a mixture of federal and state grants as well as program income. Provided 5,556 congregate meals, 26,950 home delivered meals, 1,697 pick-up meals 1,095 units of in-home respite, 505 units of information and assistance, 131 units of Walk with Ease, and 1,744 units of transportation.
The Lighthouse program provides in-home assistance for seniors who do not qualify for other programs. The Fair program provides relief to caregivers who care for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Provided 13,081 units of Lighthouse and 2,641 units of Fair.
Life program which subsidizes the senior center and activities (505 units of nutrition education) 5310 grant used for Medical/Special Transport. Benefit Counseling/MIPPA/SMP which helps older individuals understand their rights under the Social Security Act, Medicaid, supplement social security programs and general insurance policies. Meals on Wheels Covid grant to provide information about Covid-19 and available vaccines. Governor's grant which was used to replace siding on the Senior Center.
