Council On The Arts & Humanities For Staten Island

Community programs: aims to make the arts accessible to every member of the community; support and build recognition for artistic achievement; and provide artists,organizations, and arts educators with the technical, financial, and social resources to encourage cultural production. This is achieved via workshops, coaching, and partnerships with like-minded organizations, and special events.

Arts and education: the organization supported local teaching artists through residencies at public school classrooms and senior centers, and offered free professional development support and skills training.

The organization currently has other sponsored programs as follows: folk art database, a public art program, and other public programming.
