Provide continuing education opportunities for CCC faculty librarians, library managers and other library staff, inlcuding in-person workshops, Zoom workshops, weekly Zoom webinar series, and two-day annual conference. Also provide bi-weekly list of local, regional and national professional development opportunities provided by other library associations, organizations, consortia, etc. which are available for CCL members.

Represent the Library Services Platform program (services, operations, budget) at the state level in the Chancellor's Office California Community Colleges through the CCC Telecommunications and Technology Advisory Committee; participate in the CCCCO planning and development of Vision 2030, especially in the applications of AI to library instruction for information literacy as well as applications to all other library systems, services and workflow. Manage the required statewide data collection and analysis effort (California Education Code, Tite 5) for an annual statistical report on CCC library services, staffing, collections, technology, and needs.
