The country dance and song society connects and supports people in building and sustaining vibrant communities through participatory dance, music, and song. We steward the living traditions of english country dance, contra and square dance, morris and sword dance, and the music that is an integral part of these traditions.

Sales and services-sales of tradtional english and north american dance and music publications, recordings and other related items, providing member organizations and individuals the opportunity to purchase caller and group insurance and also the use of the group exemption.
Education and outreach-support local groups and individuals in creating and enriching traditional dance and music by advising, providing resources, networking, publicity and grants.
