The organization's primary exempt purpose is to improve the working conditions and protect and promote the interests of its members whose employment is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with their employer. Therefore, the organization administers and enforces the terms of the collective bargaining agreement on behalf of its members. At applicable times, the organization negotiates the terms of the collective bargaining agreement with the employer.
