The organization worked within the pacific fisheries management council to advocate for fishing opportunity in the salmon fishery. The organization worked with state managers and environmental groups to advocate for fishing opportunity and decreased risk of whale entanglement in the dungeness crab fishery.

The organization facilitated direct sale of seafood products from members to the public.
